Traffic and Transport

North-Holland is a province with a lot of traffic. Not surprising, since it is home to more than 2.5 million people who need to get to the office or school in the week and want to enjoy recreational pastimes during weekends. The province makes every effort to ensure a good public transport infrastructure, but no longer tries to dissuade motorists from using their cars. In other words, mobility is allowed. The province is also responsible for building and maintaining the roads and for constructing new, safe roundabouts and cycle paths.
