Water

Dry feet, a good water level and drinking water at the turn of a tap. It might seem self evident, but is far from it. Water is a scarce commodity, also in North-Holland, a scarce commodity of which there can also be too much at times. That’s what makes the managing of water so complicated. There is always the issue of safety as well. The province is responsible for the water management in North-Holland, together with the national Government and the Water Boards.
