Provincial activities

The province plays a role in the fields of care, welfare, culture, the environment, nature and landscape; sometimes as the drafter of the plans and sometimes as the funding party. The province is also involved in issues such as ensuring good public bus transport in the region. The province is also responsible for building and improving its road network and for constructing safe roundabouts and cycle paths.
